Xt3 is a content-driven Catholic social network born out of WYD08. Xt3's mission is to provide authentic, genuine formation.
Xt3.com is a Catholic social online network established for the 2008 World Youth Day in Sydney, Australia. The name stands for “Christ in the Third Millennium” and is operated by the Archdiocese of Sydney, with the support of Archbishop Cardinal George Pell.
It is content-driven and features an expanding library of videos, audio interviews, podcasts, print articles, and messages from the Vatican. This content is available to the public. Other features include a Prayer Wall, Ask a Priest and a special section called iActiv8, which has all the information on World Youth Day, to be held next in Madrid in 2011.
Xt3.com has nearly 50,000 members from all over the world.
Xt3.com supports and brings to life Pope Benedict XVI’s 2009 theme for the 43rd World Communication Day: New Technologies, New Relationships. Promoting a Culture of Respect, Dialogue and Friendship.
